Ola’s art therapy work is focused on offering the client case-relevant art interventions then guiding the client through the course of exploring the personal process of art making and facilitating the discovery and decoding of the conscious and unconscious visual messages in the client’s art work. Her art-based therapeutic approach involves a unique blending of different therapy techniques including Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and tools. Making a life-long impact on people’s emotional and psychological well-being as a means to better-living is at the core of her professional principles and personal values that she upholds to the highest level.
Ola has obtained her two-year Art Therapy training and diploma certificate program from the College for Educational and Clinical Art Therapy (CECAT) in Australia, an extensive in-depth education and experiential program supervised by Robert Gray, a highly regarded Art Therapist, Psychologist, Theologist, Senior Lecturer and Author. She has also received her Acceptance and Commitment Therapy education through the certificate and training program of Dr. Russ Harris, an Australia-based Medical Practitioner, Psychotherapist, Executive coach and world-renowned ACT author and trainer.
